How Does it Work?
Coaching starts with a coaching interview, through which the client (company), the coachee and the coach agree on the needs, the coaching objectives, modalities and duration. A framework for evaluating the coaching performance is also then defined. This process ensures commitment from all parts and the coach’s accountability.
Coaching sessions usually last between one and two hours and are performed face-to-face, by video conference or by phone. During a session, the coach uses tools such as questions, reformulations, exercises to be practiced, etc., in order to guide the coachee in exploring the problem and its solutions, finding the core issues and the most direct path to effective decision-making and action-taking. It is important to note that team coaching has a different format.
