Laurence de Fontenay
Born and raised in France, I hold a university degree in law, worked first in training, then on organizational design, audits, processes and L&D within large international groups, with scopes like France, Europe and LatAm. With a strong HR background, I have been working as an Exec for more than 10 years and managing teams up to 200 people.
Certified as a coach in 2015, I managed to integrate coaching in each part of my role as a leader, specifically when developing teams and making them dig their competencies and find enough energy and self-confidence to thrive and perform.
I am convinced each individual can be the best version of him / herself when their purpose is clear and matches the purpose of the company.
Also, I have been practicing meditation for over 12 years now, which is a huge support to take a step back, come back to my intuition and make the right decisions. I used to be the kind of workaholic employees’ companies like as they are always engaged and ready to be in charge. I realized I was at risk for both myself and the company, creating a lot of tensions around me even if it was obviously not my intention.
I am convinced we should all feel that being ourselves in our work environment is a way to express our talents and be creative in our job. We should be recognized first for who we are and then only for what we do, as we are human beings not human doings.
